Grand Wailea

We will be there in two weeks. Anyone been there recently and knows about the extent of the construction next door?

We were in Maui in mid-December and walked along the beach path to the Grand Wailea, past the construction. It's a big construction site, there are plywood fences/barricades along the path. Couldn't see much as it was dark when we walked there.

This is a huge and lovely resort. We spent a week there a few months ago - while construction was going on. Never heard it and never went looking for it. So I can honestly say, it had NO impact on our stay at all. You'll love the pools!

No, JohnD, same old trip - seven months ago now!
I guess that's getting to be more than a few. Wish I could go back, but still have the last trip on my credit cards...
