Good places for breakfast in Maui

I did a search on the site and I got a variety of messages mentioning restaurants that are worth going to but not whether some are good for breakfast.
Anyone have any ideas?
The only ones I have so far are Moose McGillicuddy's and The Gazebo. We will be staying at the Hyatt any good ones there? I also heard The Terrace at the Ritz is good but is it far from where the Hyatt is?
Thanks!

I remember years ago Eggberts restaurants in the Hawaiian Islands. That's a good choice if they're still around.

I had a great breakfast at Longhi's in Lahaina a couple of years ago. It still has a good reputation, and has won awards. I just looked it up on "Google.com." You wouldn't think that just breakfast would make such an impression, but it did. And, I have had wonderful buffet's at the Maui Westin and Hyatt Regency. But, I would go back to Longhi's.

The Ritz is in Kapalua about 15 minutes north of Kaanapali where the Hyatt is located. The Plantation House (also in Kapalua) is another good place for breakfast. If you're planning to go to the Gazebo, get there early or expect a wait. They don't have very many tables.

While in Maui 3 weeks ago we also had breakfast at Longhi's, and Sharon is correct that it serves an absolutely delicious breakfast. Our group of 10 all agreed it was the best breakfast we'd had up to that day (day 5), though it was pricey. But, we figured, what isn't on Maui?? Longhi's remained our favorite breakfast until we went to the Gazebo. A local told us we simply could not leave Maui without having the banana macadamia nut pancakes at the Gazebo, so we went. Well, it was not only the best breakfast we'd had on our trip, but 6 of us felt it was the best meal overall! The pancakes were to die for, served with a scrumptious concoction of whipped butter and whipped cream (I think) on top, and coconut syrup. I didn't even need the syrup, the dollop of whatever it was that came on top was so good. I also love hash, eggs and rice, so a friend ordered that, I got the pancakes and we split our plates. Perfection! The Gazebo only has about 12-15 tables, so you may have to wait if you don't go early. We lucked out and only had to wait 15 min. And at $7-12 per person for breakfast, the price and what you get for it couldn't be beat. Have a great time!

On my recent trip to Maui staying at the Hyatt we had buffet breakfast at Swan Court every morning as part of our package.

I second Moose McGillicuddy's. We had a $1.99 great breakfast on the day we left. Nothing fancy, just bacon, eggs, toast, coffee and juice. Not bad for $6 including a tip!

Try the Seahouse on the beach at Napili. Very nice restaurant with a great view of Napili Bay. Full bar if you want Bloody Marys or mimosas. Also you can get fresh grilled fish and eggs. Delicious!

SSN: Below is the address for the Gazebo restaurant. It's in Napili. We stayed at the Maui Marriott, and it took about 10-15 min to get there. Enjoy!

The Gazebo Restaurant
Address: Napili Shores Resort, 5315 Lower Honoapi'ilani Hwy., Napili, HI, USA

The Gazebo is my husbands very favorite breakfast restaurant. Take the Honopiilani highway north and turn at the Napili turnoff, then go straight to the end of that road and turn right. Keep going until you see a sign for the Napili Shores Resort on the left and turn into their parking lot. Park and walk down to restaurant, it is on the water with beautiful views. You can tell we`ve been there many times! Try to go early since it is very popular and they do not take reservations.

Any special items we should try at Kihei Caffe? We love to try anything that's local and authentic.

Thanks to all!
