Girls Spa Weekend

Hi, a group of friends want to go to a spa/resort for a weekend. We will be flying from different parks of the country (DC, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, Texas). Would like a variety of activities but mainly a place where we can get pampered, hang out, have great food and maybe golf, tennis, hike. Any suggestions would be great appreciated. Want to go sometime in Spring 2005. Thanks!

MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Great spas (they have several, I think). Lots of golf choices, and the city just breathes life into a weekend for frieds on a get-away trip.

Thanks for the response. Vegas is always an option. Only thing is many of us have been many times.

Ojai Resort and Spa, Ojai California- a little out of your way, but a great spa. 80 miles north of LAX.

How about Colorado?

The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs is fabulous and has a wonderful spa.

There's a place outside of Boulder called Gold Lake Resort that is nice.

Tallgrass in Evergreen Colorado is also wonderful.

There's the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs where you can also enjoy the hot springs pool.

Hotel spa ixtapan, in ixtapan de la sal mexico. It's cheap, but hard to get to, but a great place and the food is included
Or The Lake Austin Spa in Lake Austin Texas. It's a great spa that's put lots of money into upgrading their facilities.

Or how about Santa Fe. It was made for a girls weekend. It's got lots of great hiking trails, great restaurants, shopping. And you could spend a day at 10,000 waves spa being pampered.
