Gatlinburg/PigeonForge shows

Wife and I(super seniors) are going to be in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge 28,29,30 May 2007. We would like to take in a show each evening we are there. Would appreciate recommendations on what we should see, and any other helpful hints. Thank you.

Louise Mandrell's show is supposed to be the best. I loved her on Barbara Mandrell's TV show decades ago. The reviews stay strong. I wish I could have seen the Christmas show this year. Check out Louise Mandrell's website.

I believe that Louise Mandrell's show has closed. We really liked the Black Bear Jamboree, and are planning to see it again on our next trip.

I would second the Dixie Stampede recommendation. My parents have been twice, and have loved it each time. I've been once, and am planning on going back for a weekend trip.

Louise is no longer in Pigeon Forge. Been gone for over a year now. Something else is in her theater now.

I agree with Dixie Stampede if you haven't done anything similar to it before. Black Bear Jamboree is good especially with children.

Country Tonite is a great show. Also, if you want to laugh and laugh go to The Comedy Barn. It is good clean humour.

Also, all of the shows at Dollywood are great.

Have fun!
