FYI Hawaiian flight 148

Hawaiian flight 148 from HNL to KOA seems to have been eliminated. I just received notice this morning that my 4/30 flight will be leaving now at 1:50 pm instead of 12:50pm. Not happey about sitting in HLN for close to 2.25 hrs but nothing I can do.

Just talked to Hawaiian and flight 148 is now scheduled to leave hln at 12:33 instead of 12:50 so because there is only 40 minutes between flights they kicked me to the 1:50 flight. If you fly in from Sacramento, this put you into KOA about an hour later.

At least they let you know and actually did this to help you out seeing that you might have missed the connecting flight since it was now leaving a bit early.

I flew Delta last year. Their flight out of Jackson Wy. was delayed by 20 minutes or so. That meant we got into SLC with no time to spare to catch our connecting Delta flight to LAX. We missed the flight. Considering both flights were Delta's, I'm still at a loss how this happened.

travelin in 10 years of traveling to the island, the plane has only been late once and it was late by two hours. What they are saying is they can't unload my bag in forty minutes. Well that's ok. The problem is, if this is permanent, then my flight to kona just got an hour plus longer and at that point I have to see if United or Alaska is more competitive in regards to time. It's too bad because on the whole I like Hawaiian

wbpiii, speaking about luggage, you want to hear something funny? On that flight we missed out of SLC to LAX, after we ran (literally) to the gate, we looked out the window and there were our three bags being loaded onto the plane!!! But they wouldn't let us board because they were just about to retract the passageway arm. Good grief....

Anyway, good luck with your travels. I hope you find something that works.

It probably has something to do with daylight savings time on the mainland. I've had that happen before.

Leit, I don't think so. This flight has been my regular for the past decade. It has never changed. I suspect that it's a response to some competitor but I can't prove that.
