Fredericksburg VA
Is it far to walk from the train station in Fredericksburg up to the historic/tourist area? Is it a "safe" area to walk from? I'm thinking of taking a day trip down to Fredericksburg from DC in September and was just looking for any input or if anyone else had done this.

When you exit the station, you are at the edge of the main street through town. Getting to the National Park would be about a 10 minute walk. I'd take a cab. Your trip is very doable.

TTT means to the top. At the top of the posts there is a "search text" box. Enter the subject you are interested in and you will find much info.
