Rave: Florida is so great for R&R. I understand why Scarlett moved here. The sunshine is inspiring.

Rave: There is so much to do in Orlando besides theme parks. So many great nature offerings. Like the little lizards that get in the pool and lanai area. Seriously, the environmental offerings are cool, eg. the natural springs that I never knew existed til this trip (like DeLeon)

Rave: Dale Chihuly glass sculpture exhibit that is traveling across the US for next few yrs. I have seen it twice now in different cities and it is just mindblowing.
Highly recommend it.

Rave: My daughter (who accompanied me to both Chihuly exhibit visits) is a budding artist and wants to go to Venice to see the Chihuly pieces hanging over the canals. And wants to throw in the rest of Italy too. I told her to start babysitting and save her money.

Rant: hate using a laptop to do fodors. I type these nice informative emails and then hit some unknown button and it all disappears, or I go to send it and have lost the connection. So I learned to listen on here this week instead of saying alot, not a bad lesson actually.

Rave: too many others to list now. I am a very fortunate and blessed traveler this week.

Rant: I only got about 4 hours sleep last night.

Rant: The dorks at my BF's job fired him last week due to downsizing and now he has to search for a new one.

Rave: BF and I have more time together as a result, so he's sleeping in my bed right now with my cat curled up next to him.

Rave: 13 more days till I leave for my next vacation!

Rave: It's supposed to be 65 here in NYC today...has Spring finally showed up?

Rave: Both bosses are out today for Good Friday.

Rant: I can't eat meat today!!! Waaah!!

Rave: I've been on the South Beach Diet going on 5 days and already lost 4 pounds.

Rant: No wine until April 18th.

Rave: My brother in law (who can be a pain) is always willing to take my kids when school is out and he's taking them to Mass today which I won't be able to do. I'm grateful to him for helping me pass along our faith and just grateful for my family in general.

Rave: The Red Sox home opener is today.
Rant: I won't be there.

Rave: My friend's birthday party is tonight.
Rant: It feels weird celebrating on Good Friday.

Will be keeping our soldiers in Iraq in mind this weekend and praying for their safety.
