Rave: Congrats to the Red Sox. Enjoy your offseason of soul-searching, if the article in today's NY Times is to be believed. One quote compared the feeling to an alcoholic that doesn't know what to do with themself once they quit. Amazing that the angst of "why can't we win" has now been (ALREADY) replaced by some with "but NOW what's our identity."

Rant: This Sunday will be the last time my brother will see my two children for 18 months. My hope is that next week a town in Texas will rejoice in the permanent return of their village idiot.

I don't know what to do with myself. I can't concentrate and have a headache from crying...don't read more...I'll ruin your weekend...

Rant: the baby's heart stopped sometime in the last 2 wks...he's stillborn

Rant: I'm devastated

Rave: I can talk to strangers cuz it's so much easier than telling my parents and disappointing them

I'm sorry folks to bring this post to a new low.

Where can my husband escape to from Atlanta and bury our heads in the sand--see editors--travel related

Ryan, you need a glass of "Yountville GTG" wine to take your mind off the series.

I am so very, very sorry OWJ. You and your husband will get through this. There are many of kind people here who will listen and care. Please try to take care of yourself during this most difficult time. Hold your head high, bad things happen to good people.

OWJ,
I can offer no words that can come close to providing an expression of the sorrow you must be feeling.

OWJ, so sorry for your loss! Hugs from a woman who'd lost an unborn baby. Talk to us, don't keep your grief inside. Best wishes to you and your husband.

I take back my last statement "Life is good." Its not good when someone is aching over a lost baby; I've been there. OWJ, my heart hurts for you and my prayers and thoughts are with you and your husband.

Big virtual hugs to you, OWJ. This is devestating news, to say the least. Take care of yourself, and you and your DH take care of one another thru this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

OWJ:
I can't imagine how you must be feeling at this time. My heart goes out to you.
Sometimes it's easier to talk to strangers...there is a bunch of us listening.

OWJ - I am SO sorry. I know there isn't anything we can say to ease your grief, but please know that we're doing the best we can to share it with you.

OWJ I am so sorry for your loss and you and your husband are in my prayers.

Can you tell a close friend and ask them to tell your family? At times like this, your parents will understand you need time to heal and to grieve. Don't worry about telling people, let someone else do that for you.

I wish you much strength.
