Thank you for sharing that info, Hermes! This is the first time I've run across her. She must stick to the Europe forum?

Hermes: Oh my! I shall arm myself with a silver bullet and be prepared to drive a stake through the heart.

Thanks for the warning ...

and the burst of out loud laughter when I read your post sitting here all by myself with my husband thinking I have gone off the deep end...

Howdy, Miss Scarlett. Long time, no see. Have a big martini on me.

Lauren disappears for months at a time. I noticed she reappeared a month ago after topping one of her old posts. She has been posting her for years.

She drove poor Elaine crazy with insults.

Don't you really wonder what possible motivation and/or internal "reward" or consequence individuals who thrive on that bent get? I did.

I did an entire degree once just to figure it out. Now I most often know, but it sure ain't pretty. Worse than my English. It's usually a rat's nest of inferiorities, anger and incompleteness from insecurities.

If you become plagued, the best thing to do is ignore. Ignore, ignore, ignore. The "protesting" will get louder and more revealing of the condition of the source. Not everyone will realize, but most will.

Elaine did well.

Happens to many of us- there are some real bipolars on these threads. Just thank God or whatever your strength centers upon that you aren't one of "those" who are threatened by considerable strength, expressed love in any venue, or an opposing opinion.

I first ran into "Faux" years ago on the AOL Board. Lord bless her, she hasn't changed a bit over the years. LOL

Dearest Hermes darling, Didn't you just know that about Ms. Klum. She and Seal and all their little baby seals, the thought of the German deb bashing the wait staff, pathetic! What a trashy trollop she is indeed with all her curse words. Who knew?

And our Tim Gunn, I adore him - he and ThinG are the newest members to my "if you had to invite seven famous people to dinner, who would they be" list. A good choce, don't you agree????? I could just sit and listen to their voices for hours.

So with that said, and the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, does that mean you get a guest spot on The Closer with Kyra Sedgwick??????

p.s. I wonder if Jay ever recovered from Tom's face punch? Poor lad.

Wow, a very busy week: some tragedies and a few triumphs. Hope everyone gets through intact.

Rave: GT - We have a Vonage here in MX (only 'cuz SO still works) and get virtually no telemarket calls despite our 214 area code.

Rave: E: have fun in PV - we'll be in ElCareyes/Costalegre for Christmas.

Rave: Corwin - the joys of adolescent ladies, lol.

Rave: Spring (theirs) trip logistics to Argentina and Chile nearly complete: overnight in Mexico City departing (Hot Catedral/Zocalo); 6 nights Hot. Bobo in (Palermo, Soho) BA; 3 nights Iguazu Grand Hot; rt flt via BA to Bariloche; sail through the Andes to Puerto Varas, flt to SCL, rent a car - 3 nights Hacienda los Lingues and tour the Colchagua wine region; 2 final nights at Hot Orly in Santiago.

Rave: All our DAL Skymiles were "used" for business seats on the international flights of partners Avianca and AeroMexico.

Feliz fin de Semana.

M

Interesting! I went to that controversial FauxStMarie thread and she was certainly very dead set against well wishes on the board. But I randomly clicked on other threads, and she seemed to dispense pretty good information. Is it just non-travel subjects that gets her all crazy and combative? Like when ira gets crazy about the difference between running and jogging?

Enough already!
Did anyone notice the "Complete Guide to Caribbean Cruises" ad on this thread?
The woman in the white hat is talking to a Cone Head from France.
