Fox car rental in las vegas?

Has anyone heard of or used Fox Car Rental in Las Vegas airport? Their prices are great but I'm skeptical.

I had never heard of Fox til yesterday when I did a quick search for someone for a car in CA and Fox came up the lowest. If you type Fox rent a car in the text search above you'll find a number of previous threads (not all re LV). Many people complain about customer service with them and the cars are evidently not as new as other cos. Be careful about insurance coverage. Evidently they sometimes quote w/o certain coverage so they appear cheaper and then when you add the ins. cost it's a wash. Hope this helps.

Hi Sharondi,
I used Fox Rental in San Diego. It was an awful experience. Do NOT use them under any circumstance. Their cars are not well maintained. I say cars, because I returned one car that was lurching badly. Additionally, they do not have things most other car rental places have, such as automatic windows, cruise control. The second car was badly aligned, but I kept it. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I did write to corporate office and they gave me a small refund. I have never had anything approaching this miserable experience. We have had good luck with Payless Car Rental. Go to Orbitz and you will get a listing of all rentals available in LV. Then go to the individual site. If there is anyone over 50 years old driving, you get an additional 5%, if you sign up for the Nifty Fifty (Payless Club).
Good luck!

I used Fox from SFO. The car was OK, but indeed, not as spiffy as other rental co.'s generally offer. They were located rather far from the airport. Check in/out was handled slowly, but not rudely. All in all, I wouldn't use them again unless the price is waaaay better than any other--like half as much!
