I saw this place when I was driving by one day. It's on State Road 84 and it looked like they had a large selection of vehicles, including vans. I tried to find it in the phone book, but it wasn't listed (maybe a new business??)

I live in the area and drive by there every now and then. So all I can tell you is that it's there. How did you find out about it? I'm curious because it wasn't in the phone book.

If you use EZ car rental, please give us a post on how you liked/disliked it because that will be helpful to others.

I do not know of EZ car but I rented a car at Ft. Lauderdale airport for 7 days for under $200. including all fees through Priceline. I have used Priceline to rent cars with before and they definitely have the best deals. Bid wisely. Check and see what the going rate is and then go from there.

thanks for the input. I found them through the Orbitz car rental site, they list locals and prices....they claim to have branches all through Florida and are moving into texas etc. I will let you know if I take the plunge. Thanks.

I chickened out after their rates went up. I decided to try priceline, with much apprehension from years ago, and I got a minivan for $30 per day! Well, at least that is what they tell me. I shall see after I arrive and have to deal with Alamo, whom , in Ft. Lauderdale I see do not have a very good reputation. Ok, thanks for the input and now to find a place to stay the last two nights....can you spell...procrastination!!
