We'll have to see where the vote comes out. I had formica in my kitchen in the mid to late 70s the exact same color of the darker rust, and I had a Samsonite floor w/both the orange and rust colors, so maybe it just reminds me to much of that. You don't see much rust these days, maybe fodors will bring back the trend.

MOST (not all) design concepts from the 70's are best left there. They weren't that great the first time around and don't improve when regurgitated.

I think that is one of the reasons I liked this right away. The shades of blue and green were depressing and a little gagging to me. I like the bold and warm colors better. I thought of it more as desert colors than that rust ( my first Volvo station wagon in the 70s was rust colored )
Have you looked at the Home page yet?

My scroll bar for the posts just disappeared. Sigh. I don't really care about the colors so much as I care about whether I can use the site. Although I would like to add that I'm very happy that Scarlett is gardening. And even has a client! It seems everything is coming up roses!

My red threads are now grey instead of red. I found the "red read" easier to see at a glance.

ohhh,

let's just call it tangerine and sunflower... more pleasant sounding than rust. I also thought of my 74' bedroom and ski jacket.

I'd like it much better w/ red-orange accents, or bright blue... the black is too harsh... it was an eye opener this AM though.
