Florida Wedding

Tom, my husband and I got married in Florida almost 15 years ago while on vacation. At that time, all we had to do was show up with identification and pay the fee. Since it is a 2nd marriage for both of us, we also had to know the dates our divorces were final. I think things have changed since then, however.
My suggestion would be to get the e-mail address of the county courthouse where you will be staying. If you only know the city, e-mail the hotel, explain what you want to do, ask someone there to provide you with a name and an e-mail address to find out what's required.
Good luck. Marriage to the right person is lots of work, but worth it. Marriage to the wrong person is Hell on Earth.

oops.. If you decide to do it, best wishes too you. I have been told that there are many beautiful beaches you can have the ceremony on. Expense of the ceremony is entirely dependent on what you want, how extravagant. My brother did it at the courthouse and had a picnic at the beach, very inexpensive. Congrats.

How about something in the Pan Handle? They have beautiful beaches there! Key West is a great idea but you need to find something in the historic district and not the business area where Banana Bay is located. I think it is next to a few fast food stops.
