Florida Vacation

My wife and I are planning a two week vacation for either late Feb. or early March. We're driving from Western North Carolina to the Okefenokee Swamp, then spending the bulk of time in Fla. We're definitely going to Everglades and Key West. We're considering St. Augustine, Sanabel Island?? Would love to hear suggestions.

I would recommend "not" going to Key West but that's your decession. St Augustine is a great destanation.

It looks like you're going to be doing an awful lot of traveling. You DO know, I assume, that driving from Okefenokee in Georgia to Key West will take 9-10 hours, don't you?

Yes, I know about the distance. We'll have 2+ weeks. We actually did the same trip from North Carolina through New England in the same time period...so don't mind doing the driving.

I definitely recommend St. Aug and Sanibel! St. Augustine is my #1 though.
