florida theme parks

my mum and dad are going crazy planning which rides to go on in florida. we dont want to go on rollercoasters or really boring rides that you will find anywhere. So what rides are really cool in orlando and which theme park are they in?

Go to www.disboards.com They have message boards for Disney, Universal and Seaworld and you can get all the info you want. You can also go to Disney's and Universal's websites and see samples of the attractions.

Also, got one of the Disney World books that also covers the other parks at the book store. The $15 is worth it because they will tell you how to work the park to get the most rides in during your visit.
The rides at DW and Universal are NOT regular roller coasters. I HATE amusement parks and fell in love with Disney and Universal. The rides are psychological rides with stories attached, not just get on and ride around a loop.

In Epcot they are opening a ride in the Land pavillion called "Soaring". We went on a similar one in Disneyland. It is like you are on a hang glider going over the land complete with scents. Lots of fun -especially if you sit in the front row (You can ask for that row!). I agree with other posters.. . read the guidebooks, visit the websites, and plan your attack!!!!!!!! Have fun!

They no longer have the King Kong ride at Universal, they broke it down to add a new attraction. I believe Revenge of the Mummy is in it's current spot. I haven't been on it but I heard it's pretty neat. My fav was Men in Black: Alien Attack at Universal. You have a laser gun and shoot at the aliens as they show up while at the same time your twisting and turning around. It's really great!
