Florida in April
Hi,
I am flying into Miami on April 3 and going to spend time there till April 13
I think the first couple of days we will stay in Miami. April 9-12 we have booked a hotel at Key West.
Any suggestions of what to do in the area on the weekend (April 6-8)?
We are mainly interested in the beach activities, but if there is "a must" that I don't know about - would be happy to know.
Thank you!

If you are interested in nature, visit the Shark Valley area of Everglades NP. It is less than an hour from Miami.

There's plenty to do in Miami if you want beach activities... Ocean Drive and the surrounding Collins Avenue area provide shopping, dining, clubs, people watching, water sports, beach sports, and sand... hopefully your plans have you in South Beach during the stay... I often think it's silly to drive around South Florida just to visit different beaches when you can HQ at South Beach...
