FLL airport restaurant needed
Hi folks! We'll be arriving around 8 pm pre-cruise and staying at La Quinta for the night. I don't want to taxi down to Los Olas or anything. There should be several places which are walking distance from our hotel- anyone any suggestions? Prefer casual, mid-price and healthy. Thai? Seafood?

I am not sure where the LaQuinta is, however, the restaraunts you mention are in a large strip mall called Oakwood Something - its huge - movie theaters, Home Depot, Kmart, Barnes & Noble- who get the picture . . . so on to the restaraunts.
These are all in the shopping center -
Dave & Buster's - chain place that has food but really is an arcade - video games, skeet ball, etc http://www.daveandbusters.com/Locations/
Starlight Diner - I have eaten here - cute 50s style diner - in a silver trailer.
Sweet Tomatoes - giant one price salad bar place -my kids love it.
Hollywood Ale House - Ale House is a chain - it serves, burgers, sandwiches, fish, family freindly - large TVs for sports viewing
Di Salvo's Italian Restaurant
- I have never eaten here.
I dont think would want to walk to these . .
Tropical Acres & Islamorada Fish Company. I believe they are on the other side of I-95.
I am not sure this helps you - as this area is very commercial. Where exactly is the hotel?
Just FYI - In Oakwood Shopping center there is also a Fridays and a Red Lobster.

I hate Red Lobster and Fridays! The La Quinta is just adjacent to the mall....actually on 26th St appears to be at the intersection of Oakwood Dr/Blvd. I was really wondering id it was possible to walk to the mall from La Quinta. I used Google Earth and that looks like a very busy street.

I looked up the hotel - yes you can walk to the shopping center. Sheridan is the main road. Oakwood is the street the mall is on that runs parallel to I95. You'll be fine. On the RL and Fridays - I was just trying to give you all the info you needed.
