Has anybody had experience with this company in either city, and if so how was it?

WHAT company? Is the name FL Auto Rental?

We always rent from Avis when we fly into FLL and have never had a problem. I would be very leery of renting from an unkown company.

buckeyemom - Thanks for your input - we've ususally used Budget, but it seems as if the prices have skyrocketed and it's time to look further. (Go Bucks!)

I've never rented with them but it's a very small company, they only have 4 locations across the state. The one in Ft. Lauderdale is open 24 hours, the one in Miami closes around midnight I believe.
Try travelocity.com to compare prices from different major companies, find what the cheapest one is and go to that company own website, you may even find a chaper price there.
I personaly like travelocity.com because they will show the total price for the entire rental period including taxes and fees and not only the daily or weekly prices like other websites.

Never heard of them. We always use Dollar or Enterprise in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Never had a problem.
