Fishermans Wharf Hotels

I am taking a vacation to San Francisco this August. What hotels in the Wharf area have views of the bay?

Look at the Argonaut and the Radisson.

There might be more on this site.

Do you necessarily want to stay at Fisherman's Wharf, or is the bay view what is important to you? There are several nice hotels farther south along the Embarcadero (Hyatt Regency, Hotel Vitale, Harbor Court) (in the area of the Ferry Building) all of which have bay views on one side of the building.

I absolutely hated the Radisson Fisherman's Wharf, to the point that we checked out early. I felt very unsafe there, access from the parking area into the hotel was desserted, the corridors were long and the lobby was a zoo. I grew up in NYC, back when it wasn't so safe to walk around at night and I felt very uneasy in this hotel.

The front rooms at the Argonaut have smack on views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge.

The Argonaut is a great hotel next to the cable car turnaround, across the street from Ghirardelli Square and views of the bay.

In Sausalito, the Inn above the Tide has a great view.
The Mandarin Oriental in the financial district has incredible views of the bay....look into the bridge to bridge room...and check online for internet rates.
