First time to New Orleans

I am going taking my family to New Orleans for my husband's brithday Nov 20th weekend. We will only be there 2 1/2 days and we're looking for something affordable and quaint in the French Quarter area. Any ideas??

Thanks

We didn't stay there, but on a walking tour of the French Quarter, we went into the lobby and courtyard area of the Ste. Ann Marie Antoinette, and thought it looked lovely.

We like Hotel Monteleone.

There are some sports events that weekend, so don't wait till the last minute to book. The Saints are at home on Sunday, Tulane plays on Saturday and the Hornets play the Cavaliers on Friday.
