Player's in Austin TX, near UT campus!
Also John's right off the TCU Campus in Ft Worth, TX. It's a great little hole-in-the-wall that is being currently run by John's sister after he passed away.

There was this place in Savannah, Ga. when I was there in the early 80's that had the best; somewhere near Thunderbolt or the likes , best hamburger I ever had. Anybody have a clue what the name of it was or if still there?

Hey Paul (second poster)... if you like cheese burgers you have to try one at Harold' Place in the Quality Inn Gulfcoast on Tamiami Trail in Naples. To die for. Try one of their Margaritas too. Look for Jackson (the hotel's dog - actually Nancy's dog) in the lobby. Of course you probably already know about all this

Ya gotta have your In'n Out "animal style." Even thinking of it makes me reach for my car keys.

I love In-n-Out burgers and make it a point to have them when I'm out west...but I don't know what "animal style" is - please enlighten me!

"animal style" is grilled onions and extra sauce - really messy, but delicious!
