Fall Foliage at end of October
I know it's way to early to tell, but where in Massachusetts will I find the best autumn color during the last weekend of October? I know I might have missed the peak time...
I was suggested to go west on Route 2 from Boston, but I'm thinking I'll see better color if I go south. Any suggestions please!?

Agree with xkenx - leaves change last near water.
Even if fall is later than usual this year, it will likely be too late to see any foliage to the west. If you're lucky, Boston will be beautiful.
Problem is, even when fall comes a bit later, one or two good rain storms wipe all the leaves off the trees.
Even so, look up the toll free Massachusetts foliage hotline and phone when you arrive, just to be sure.
