emerald isle - restaurant help

i saw in an earlier posting, a list of restaurants. i would like to know which are good restaurants for young kids (2 and 4) and which would be better for adults only. we will have a sitter one night and want to make sure we take advantage. also want to make sure we take kids somewhere more relaxed.

Try Yanna's in Swansboro for great shakes, burgers, fruit fritters, the works all with a very Fifties vibe. fun for you and kids. If you want a great night out for adults only run up to Beaufort to the Beaufort Grocery or the Front Street Grill. Have a blast!

We like the White Oak River Grill (or Bistro?) which is just over the bridge on the right as you head into Swansboro. I would say that it is more an adult place. There is also an Italian place that is right near the intersection of Coast Guard Road and Emerald Drive. I can't recall the name. We ate there last summer.

I am sorry the information was not helpful. Many visitors to Emerald Isle cross the bridge to dine and shop in Swansboro. Beaufort is a bit farther up the coast but many who stay in Emerald Isle also visit Beaufort.
