Elkhorn Slough boat tour

We passed by here last year; heard from folks at the B&B we were staying at that they were going kayaking at Elkhorn Slough.

It looked interesting as we passed it.

I don't think I could do the kayaking, but I have seen some tour boats advertised online.

Does anyone have any first hand experience on a tour? Who did you use, how did you like it, was it worth the time, was it worth the money?

Thanks!
Deb

I was also thinking we could just go in and walk the trails. Would we be missing too much staying on land?

Deb, I've seen these tours but have never done them. They look easy to do. I've done the kayaking and my only advice is don't wait too long before making the trip back. Headwinds come in and make it tough to paddle back (when you're already tired).

If you're thinking about walking or hiking, be sure not to miss Point Lobos.

Kayaking is very easy, we rented from Adventures by the Sea this past May and kayaked Monterey Bay for the entire afternoon, great fun! ***kim***
