East Coast Luxury Beach Hotel

I am looking for a upscale Hotel with all the amenities on the beach along the East Coast. I would rather not go to the Hamptons or Florida though I might consider the gulf. All sugestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Here are some Northern options. Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham is lovely, so is the Wauwinet in Nantucket. They aren't huge though, and may not have all the amenities you're looking for. I've also heard good things about the Wentworth in New Hampshire.

Last year I stayed at the Ritz in Naples and it was indeed lovely. I called Amelia Island and it was totally booked. The Cloister is to expensive at $700 per night. Where is the Ponte Verde?

The Ponte Vedre Inn & Club is near Jacksonville on the beach.

I stayed here in 2001 and just fell in love.

The Cloister rate may be an all inclusive. Worth checking into.
