Trying to finalize our October trip. Of course everything sounds appealing and need to pick and choose so asking for feedback. We could have 3 days in the area and possibly 4 but that may be too much.
For sure we want to visit Winterthur Museum but am not sure which tour we will do in addition to the general one(1 hr). Distinctive collections(1 hr) and Then and Now(2hr) both sound interesting but not sure about 4 hours of tour plus the tram through the gardens. Any thoughts???
Longwood Gardens sounds wonderful, what are your thoughts about visiting in October???
Hagley Museum or Nemours Mansion( formal and a tour)- I know they are very different. About how much time to visit each??
Thank you much

Thanks Vincenzo, I am hoping someone replies that has done the other tours at Winterthur. Looks like Nemours is a 3 hour tour and you need a reservation and Hagley may be self guided so you can pace yourself but still about 3 to 4 hours

Hagley Museum is a great tour. I did it in fourth grade and took my husband there this year. Very interesting. The Irish really built their fortune and died on a regular basis doing it. They were the only ones that would work in the powder mills. The stonework all around that area was done by Irish indentured servants. They had some great masons.
