Which island is considered "The Big Island"?

Take a quick look at a map and you'll notice why....
all the other Hawaiian isles put together aren't as big as the 'Big Island'.

The Big Island has a nice resort area on the west, a rainforest with lots of waterfalls on the east, and the world's most active volcano. It's about the size of Connecticut.
Oahu is where Honnolulu is.
