Drowsy Chaperone Question
I am planning to buy tickets for The Drowsy Chaperone for April 18th. Can I assume that the two original stars will still be with the play at that date, since it is less than one year from its opening? Is there any way that I can find out if/when the stars plan to leave the production?

I assume you're referring to Bob Martin and Sutton Foster. In the case of Martin, the chances are excellent that he'll still be around since he's one of the creators of the show. As for Foster, who knows? Still, I think the chances are good that she'll still be there. But again, who knows for sure.
And, I know of no source that can tell you for sure what the situation will be 2 1/2 months from now.
Still, it's a delightful show that'll probably still be a delightful show after they leave!

Ooops, I guessed wrong. It's been announced that John Glover will take over Bob Martin's role in April. However, fear not, Glover's an outstanding actor who should fill the mrole quite adequately. (Martin's going to London to recreate the role there.)

Howard....thanks so much for the update on the cast switch in Drowsy Chaperone. I'm going to purchase tickets today to Chaperone and to Curtains. I know that the two plays are similar, but I'm in the mood for light-hearted musicals.
