Driving FL to SC

Driving from Tampa area during THanksgiving to Myrtle Beach, SC. Have 2 choices, across Florida & pick-up I-95, or drive up I-75, then across to I-95. For those of you who have done this drive, what do you recommend? We'll be taking turns driving at night so don't think traffic will be an issue. Thanks!

Stay off I95 as long as you possibly can.

Since you are traveling at night, I would stick with the traditional route... I-4 to I-95. If you take I-75, you almost have to backtrack by taking I-10 to get to I-95. I really don't know any shortcuts from I-75 in GA to SC (they're all longer than going I-95).

i live on the coast of SC so i would suggest takingI-95, then in SC take exit 33 (Hwy 17 N) and stay on it. it will take all the way to Myrtle. i will say that Hwy 17 is a 2 lane, but i think it will be the quickest since it goes right into myrtle. good luck!!
