Would love to stay at Andy Taylor's house. Wonder if they charge extra for "adventure sleeping" (the ironing board between 2 chairs that Opie used when his cousin's came for a visit)?

I worked with a NC rep who was Andy made over! There are still some around "in real life"!

This idea is catching on, evidently, because some country music stars are now backing a new 'development' like this near us.
I don't think I would enjoy it....too much like home!!!lol!

I DO and we DID have a T in our neighborhood a few weeks ago. We walked right by his unmarked 18 wheeler, windows down speaking ??? very agitatedly into a cell phone.
FBI caught him later though in NJ!

Even Mayberry isn't safe...just a figment of our imaginations! Gotta have your house in order as the grandma used to say.
