In July it can get quite chilly in Australia (it is their winter) so I'd skip the AC.

If it's hot then my guess is yes.

In order to answer this question we need to know some things:

Do you like to sweat alot? Some people do.

Do you like to get hot and sweaty and then drink beer? Because if you do then no AC is a good reason to do that.

Yes, when I was last there [INSERT LOCATION] it was nearly [INSERT HOT TEMERATURE] and that AC sure came in handy!

I really don't think you will need AC. It stays fairly cool here in Tucson during June. I don't think I have seen it over 117.

Also, remember, it's a DRY heat!
