Sure they drink a lot of beer in Hawaii
even on the public beaches, which is
illegal but hardly anyone is ever
arrested for that unless they cause other trouble. But the best places to
drink beer in Hawaii is at a Korean
(or Vietnamese owned) Lounge where you
buy the waitress a drink and they will
provide you with free beer and free kim chee and other food as long as you keep supplying the girl or girls with drinks. Only in Hawaii,

In answer to your first question-no, I don't believe it is illegal as some of the hotels have open bars right on th ebeach. 2nd. Yes it is normally crowded in Waikiki(kind of like downtown Cleveland). After my first trip there,I think everyone should spend a day in Waikik and than head for Kauai for a beautiful and peaceful vacation. (get away from the tourists). Enjoy the beach, the scenery, your vacation and your beer.

Dear Spock(the name alone makes me think your a dork), Just as you(and all the other negative people on this board) have a right to be a spiteful a**hole, I have a right to defend the poster who asked an honest question. You are correct in one aspect-that Fodors is meant to be a free flowing forum. It is not meant, however, to be a place where people are subject to being verbally attacked simply because they asked a harmless question!! I merely defended the poster. Still, I wish you peace, Spock boy.

Hawaii-Bound? What do you expect when Texan's thread is titled "Do they drink beer in Hawaii?"? And then asks if there is a Hawaiian national beer? If Texan would have titles the thread "Any good microbrews in Hawaii?", I bet you would have gotten less prankster responses. There's a reason behind the old phrase "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer". and, isn't it the bottom line that Texan DID get the information s/he was looking for? Forum works fine.

If everyone played nicey nice and kissy kissy on this forum what a boring place it would be. I agree with the above poster--Texan phrased his question in a stupid way. No wonder he got such stupid answers.

Please boys and girls enough!
#1.Texan isn't dumb --Texan has a Masters

#2.How I wrote the thread had nothing to do with getting an answer without being
called names!

#3.This has been a very interesting forum subject...........

hmmmmmmmmmmmm --I'll see what other dumb
questions I can come up with to raise more hairs!!!!

Have a good weekend and God Bless to you all

Even the folks that have been ugly but especially all the good people that tried to help us out without posting false accusations!

Texan-So what you have a masters. Ted Bundy had one also. And I know someone who has a PHD and he is the biggest jerk around just like you. Having degrees does not give one class. And from your above comment you are pompous and arrogant to boot. It must be hard walking around with such a swelled head......

To the last poster. I am Texans friend and was Ted's also. T does not have a big head and is very smart as T gets my beer to me every weekend. The people that bash others show their class. Have a good life.
