disposable contacts- carry on?
Can i carry disposable contacts (individually packaged) in my carry on luggage? is there a limit to the number that i can carry? also, if i have my pills in a pill case and not the bottle, do I run a risk that they will be confiscated? i am travelling from NH to florida. thanks

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you that, since September, I FedEx inportant items to my destination, due to TSA rules. For example, I always now FedEx disinfecting solution and salene for my lenses - the products I use are not available in foreign countries, and are often not to be found in other US cities!

I carry disposable lenses in case my luggage is (gulp) late. I am assuming the 'liquid' around your lenses is far less than the 3 oz limit.
The TSA link is below for you, it tells you everything you can and can not bring and how to bring it.
I pack whatever size bottle of contact cleanser in my luggage and bring a small, 3 oz size in my carry on.

I have been putting extra contact lenses in my quart ziplock liquids bag in the carry-on. Finally, my brand of contact solution (B&L Muti-Purpose) is available in a 2 oz. size. I was wondering when they'd make a carry-on size!
I have carried pills separately in my carry-on and never had a problem. I also carry epi-Pens and had no problems there, either.

sorry, saw that you wanted to carry your pills in a case. I'm pretty sure I've taken pills not in the scrip bottle. For example, Benedryl tabs (which aren't scrip, but OTC). I think they're concerned with liquids, not pills, so liquid meds you'd have to have in the original bottle.

You can carry the small 4 ounce bottle of saline solution with you and it does not have to be part of your approved quart size baggie. So put your contacts and saline solution in a separate baggie and send it through on its own. you should be fine.
