Disneyland weather

Hi! We are planning on going to Disneyland and are going to stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Since we will be there for 4 days, I want to be sure that the weather will be warm enough to swim on our "do nothing" day. We are planning for May 17th -May 20th. Any advice? Thanks!

I'm assuming you want to swim at the hotel pool and not in the ocean?

Barring any really odd weather, you should be okay swimming if the pool is heated. If not heated, it may be a bit chilly (large hotel pools take a while to heat up on their own).

Heated or not heated? Indoors or out?

"I want to be sure that the weather will be warm enough to swim"

You can ever be sure. It will probably be warm enough to swim - it may not be. The odds are in your favor but there's no guarantees.

We want to swim and relax at the pool. I was hoping someone has stayed there in May, or if I should just wait until June. (I'd rather not)

We normally have a condition called "June Gloom" in June (sometimes other months too). It's overcast and foggy most of the day ...

May should be okay, but then if I could predict it 100%, I'd be the best weatherman in the world

You are actually a bit more likely to have good weather in May than in June. But even the June Gloom usually burns off by the afternoon.

The pool at the Disneyland Hotel is heated, so you should be able to swim with no trouble!

I agree that May is better. June MIGHT be hotter - but the smog tends to get worse as the summer wears on.
