Disney World Water Parks

Hello! We are taking a special little girl (age 6) to Disney World in July. We have 3 full days. Two of the days we know we are going to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. The 3rd day we'd like to do a water activity. What is the best for this little girl? Typhoon Lagoon? Blizzard Beach? Any other waterparks on Disney property?
Do you know if the water parks are covered by the base pass?

Thanks!

Our two kids, ages 5 & 3 loved Typhoon Lagoon. I think we paid extra for the water park pass in addition to the Magic Your Way passes. We bought a five day "no expire" tickets. You will not be dissapointed, I am sure. Just got back from Blizzard Beach and liked it too, but Typhoon Lagoon I think for her age.

I think you have to get the supersized park hopper to have the waterparks included.

I got a one day park hopper (I flew in and met my husband and stepkids for a quick overnight trip) and the one day I was there we did Animal Kingdom in the morning, Typhoon Beach all day, and Epcot that night.

Blizzard Beach has a lot of fun slides and a kiddie section that even adults were enjoying. We did both in one weekend and my daughter had just turned 6. There was only two slides she could not go on because of height. Typhoon was also nice just a bit different. BB is almost all slides, lazy river, and wave pool. Typhoon has more conserative slides, a fun tidal wave pool and swimming with fishes in extremely COLD water, for me anyway I'm from Fl.

Only you know your daughter well enough. If she is daring and likes crazy rides then do BB if not then the slides at TL will probably be better for her.

Great advice!
I think she will love TL if that is more tame. She isn't daring, but loves the water.
Thank you all for sharing!

When you go to the tidal wave pool, make sure you watch the wave when it happens a few times before she goes in, it can be pretty strong. Or have her stay way back at least the first couple of times. I think it hits every 3 minutes.
