If I leave the question of Spring Break Crowds out of the equation, March. Orlando in July and August?! C'mon. Sheer heat and humidity torture.
However, if I specifically want to avoid Spring Break crowds, July would be my choice of these three months. I wouldn't choose any of these three months myself. But this isn't about me.

If I had a choice of March July or August I would choose March. I would rather deal with crowds than the unbearable heat and humidity (I think the above poster put it best) in July and August.
I had to go to Universal Orlando last August....OMG! It was 104, with very high humidity AND every afternoon there was a severe thunder storm. Not the quick passing kind...the kind that shuts down rides and have to get out of the pool kinda lightning storm. They would last mid to late afternoon.

March.
We went to Universal last June. I believe it was the third week. Hotter than He--! I don't normally like to go on water rides. I couldn't wait to get soaked through! It was very hot and very crowded! Even in late June, and it was crowded every day! So, March is the better weather month- Go then. I would try to avoid Easter week (last week of March).

Ditto to GoTravel
Went one june and about died. This from a family who regularly explores the DRY desert southwest in the summer with temps often in the 100s.
We've gone to WDW the week after Easter for many many years and while some don't believe it, we've never had a problem.
The key?
1) plan plan plan - go to disboards.com for everything disney. And more.
2) stay at a disney resort, use their early entry every day
3) best of all, FastPass. We swear by it. Use it early and often and you should be fine.

Without a doubt - March. We have been to WDW in July a couple of times - it is brutally hot and humid - almost unbearable.
We returned yesterday from five days at WDW and it was heaven - perfect weather. I definitely vote for March - even if it's crowded. I would take a crowd any day over the heat of the summer.
