Disney Value Resorts

Has anyone stayed at any of the Disney Value Resorts and would you recommend it? Which is the best? I know the Pop Culture one is the newest. There's also sports, movies and music. Thank you for your input.

I responded to your other post. You'll find much more info on disney resorts on www.disboards.com (look at resort board for hotels).

We've stayed at Pop Century, All Star Movies and Music. Yes, I would recommend them if you are on a budget and want to stay on property. The rooms are small, but we never found that to be a problem for our family of four. Frankly, they are all the same with the same type of room setup, food court, shops, etc. We have never had a problem with any of them. They were clean, the service was good. I have heard people complain about the noise at the value resorts, since they tend to get large groups, families with young children, etc. We have never noticed this problem, even when we stayed at the All-Stars at the same time as all the participants in a dance team competition.

My only real complaint is that parking at Pop Century is horrible. We like to drive to the parks rather than rely on WDW transportation. Pop Century seriously underestimated their parking. While at the All Stars we never had a problem parking right near our building, we often would have to park far away at Pop Century.

My family stayed at the Music resort for one night only before moving to Animal Kingdom Lodge. We found it noisy at night with loud people in the pool half the night. It's kind of crowded with not much personal space but for the price I think it's worth it. If you can afford it, I would go with one of the moderate resorts. AKL was much nicer.

Thanks for all the links. I will check them out. Looks like Pop Century is not the one to choose if we decide to go with the value resorts.

I have stayed at the Port Orleans which was a moderate resort. It has the slide where you come down the dragon's tongue!!
This was a very nice resort and I don't believe it was overly pricey.

I love POP Century. The theme is awesome! But!I don't know the address to the POP Century! Everything POP is only a shop or a dining or both!
