Disney resort with zero depth entry pool
Hi,
Which Disney resorts have zero depth entry pools? I have small children (3 and 4). I don't want to be carrying them in the pool the entire time.
Thanks.

I've stayed at 4 of the Disney properties. All have shallow entry areas. With a 3 and 4 year old, the issue you might want to consider, beyond the pool, is the ease of getting to and from the Magic Kingdom.
For that reason - the combination of pool and ease of transportation - I'd suggest the Polynesian.

From the top of my head.
Swan and Dolphin and the Yacht and Beach Club.
Plus the to water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, a=have zero depth entry pools.
My choice, stay at the Yacht and Beach Club, it is an amazing hotels, and real close to Epcot.

Yacht and Beach Club, hands down - GREAT pool setup, including zero-entry and good location to everything. Polynesian is good too, but my kids couldn't get enough of the pools and real sand at Yacht and Beach Club. And we loved being so close to the Boardwalk and taking the boat to MGM. I was apprehensive at first of taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom, but it was easy and pretty nice and they came all the time.

I really like the pool at the Y&B Club. But, with a 3 and 4 year old, it doesn't make sense unless you're confident in their swimming ability.
The only pool they can really use is the sand bottom pool. There is a pool next to it that goes down to at least 8 feet. The larger pool has several "whirlpool" type.
The slide, while a blast, isn't so great with a younger child. The stairs to the top requires they go across a public pathway. The slide lets into a fairly deep section of the pool. When my son was 5, he went up and down the slide. But that I meant I had to follow him to the slide, watch him on the steps from 30 yeards away, run back to wait for him to come down, etc. At least at the Polynesian, I can see them at the top of the slide and know when they are coming down. Also, there is a clear point, the steps, that you can sit on an make sure they are not going past the 3 foot mark.
One might suggest I'm being paranoid about making sure I can see them at all times. But, Disney has had at least one incidence near a pool in recent years.
