Haven't eaten in Magnolias in years.

Love Poogans Porch, Jestines, Hanks (reservations), SNOB (reservations), Penninsula Grill (reservations), and Andolini's pizza.

Also, Circa 1886 in the Wentworth Mansion is the highest rated restaurant in Charleston.

ctroum, in November we had dinner at Magnolia's and enjoyed it very much.

Had lunch at Poogan's Porch and enjoyed it as well.

We did have reservations for dinner.

I had a very good meal at High Cotton a few months back. Not only was the meal great but they had a wonderful wine list.

Not Hyman's. Our adult kids liked Hank's. And our other adult kids LOVED Circa 1886.

Hi ctroum, is this your first trip to Charleston? I am sure you will love this beautiful city and their gracious residents.

Thanks to GoTravel's long trip report which she did as a close by neighbor to Charleston my friend and I ate at Poogans Porch and SNOB. Both were great but SNOB was fantastic. I had their rack of lamb and can still remember how wonderful the dinner was.

82 Queen (St) restaurant was the best of the several that we tried. Also charming atmosphere, including outdoor dining on their patio. So good that we didn't even mind being driven inside by a thunderstorm.
