Dim sum restaurants in Sa cramento

I know lots of Chinese restaurants in the Sacramento area but am at a loss to think of one that specializes in dim sum. Any suggestions? There used to be a take-out place somewhere around S and 16th Streets, but I can't remember the name.

You might be thinking of Capital Tea Garden @ 11th and T. That's where I always go for Dim Sum.

Thanks very much--is it take-out only, or can one eat there?

I've only eaten in - but have seen folks take orders out.

We had a dim sum lunch at the Capital Tea Garden today, and it was very good. We'll be returning soon.

Rice Bowl on Florin Road and New Canton on Broadway are more traditional dim sum places. Rice Bowl is really big.
There's also Shanghai Town in Davis - they serve shanghai style stuff not Cantonese, but most worthy of the 25 minute drive from Sacto.

Don't ever eat at the Rice Bowl in Sacramento. It was rated as having the worst cock roaches in the area. A little advice.

Well, we were right in front of Shanghai a couple of weeks ago and didn't think to check the menu. Thanks for the tip.
