Destination wedding help!!

Hello! I'm recently engaged and trying to decide where to have our wedding. Every time I search for destination weddings it comes back with the typical beach weddings which I don't particularly want. I'd rather have something in a forest like in the California redwoods or somewhere with good energy like the energy vortexs in sedona arizona. Also I'm looking to have a shamanic wedding! We're trying to keep it simple, cheap, and closer to home if possible which is Oklahoma. Any ideas?

Congratulations!

My husband's cousin got married at Lake Tahoe. They are from around Amarillo Texas.

Devil's Thumb Ranch, in Colorado, is a gorgeous place for weddings.

What month? How many in the wedding party? Is Lilly a ring bearer?
Does your groom have any preference? My thought was somewhere in New Mexico.

Are you paying guests expenses? If not, keep it affordable. A destination wedding becomes very expensive for guests.

You have tagged this for Oklahoma. . . . Yet it doesn't seem you are interested in getting married there, only that it be convenient to OK. so if you want ideas in CA or the SW, etc., you need to tag a thread for those areas.

Your issue googling destination weddings is you will mostly get the typical Hawaii, Caribbean, Venice, Tuscany type things.

Telluride, Colorado; Taos, NM; Santa Fe NM would all work in general. Time of year, budget would impact decision.

Yes, pay for your guests accomodations if you are going far away from where they are.

The OP registered a month ago, posted and never returned. It looks like the thread may have been topped by a spammer/advertiser.
