Des Arc, Hazen - Arkansas

Am going to visit in these areas.... any chance of a B&B located nearby?? Also, outside of Hot Springs, which I've read good things about, is there anything else I can see in the immediate vicinity?
Thanks.

WHY? This cannot be a choice visit. If you have not made your trip especially to Hazen/Des Arc, cancel it unless you are in to cotton gins, bugs and nothing.
This is a rural area, and I don't think they even have a hotel. Hot Springs is so touristy and over rated if you've ever been anywhere else, Magic Springs Park is a disappointment and everyone is out to get your $$$. Best advice: try somewhere else for a good trip. If you've gone already, I'm Sorry. But if you had fun, let me know where.

I know, I know..... the answer is RELATIVES. You've got to see your mother once every 10 years even if she does live in Des Arc Probably the whole town is related to me in some fashion.

Now... she has moved to Belleville - I know, I know -- even more in the sticks. I've GOT to find a hotel as close to there as possible (I fly into Little Rock). So, somewhere along that route..... is ther ANYTHING?!

Thanks so much - I know I have the sympathy of everyone on the board

Try Lonoke AR, there is a Days Inn or close and a Micky D's, it is just a few miles from your mom. i can relate we are from Vimy Ridge.

Yes, Lonoke would have been ok if she were still in Des Arc, but now she's in Belleville!

Thanks for trying
