WHen my son and I went there to tour the school last Spring, we stayed at the Park View Hotel. It's very near the school (if that's where you're headed) and was very pleasant. I actually bid on priceline and got a great deal.

I'm not sure what 'dependable hotel' means, but priceline (name your own price) is dependable for a good hotel at a good price.

I guess I mean not scuzzy...yes, I was a bit vague...just for business so something in the 3-4 star range right off the interstate would be great.

Priceline is worth it. It will save you a lot of money over time. But it takes reading and practice.

There are many threads on PL on this forum and the Lounge. Also you must read and fully understand biddingfortravel.com. Search for them.

Two suggestions:

Find someone who knows how it works and will show you proper bidding first hand.

Don't use PL if you don't know what you are doing. You will be sorry.

Also try www.betterbiding.com for some helpful Price Line advice.

Is there a specific hotel you are considering for your Syracuse stay? If there is, post it here and we'd be happy to tell you if it's a decent (sale, clean, convenient)choice.
