We always want to spend Christmas-NYear outside of our home. If you ever went somewhere at the end of December and still cherish that moment - please, share.
Thanks

(P.S. You don't have to walk hand-in-hand, you coould had wild party - as long as it was memorable I will read it) THANKS

Does my front yard count? It was outside my home.

In Aruba, the government lets regular people buy municple grade fireworks for like a three day period. Everyone on the island lights them off on New Year's Eve. It is the craziest thing I've ever seen. The whole island looked like an upside down Baghdad. And they had these 100 foot long fire crackers they would light and all the hotels put on shows. It was cool.

GoTravel, if your yard part of your mortgage then NO. But if you spent more then 24 hours there without going inside then YES.

Come to San Francisco, and let's organize a get-together.

Faina! It is a great deal idea! I dream of CA but they told me here I will not going to be swimming, too cold. I am still recovering. What to do in SF for Holidays that is WOW? And do you think lots of Fodorites would come? How long is the flight from PHL? I will go check..

Well, yes and no.

My front yard is the beach and my property line is to the mean high tide line. I spent New Years Eve a couple of years ago on the beach with friends watching the Atlantic ocean crash onshore with an oyster roast and champagne.

Ziana, normal people don't ever swim in San Francisco, they always drive far away for warmer waters.

And "what to do" is my question for 16 years now, especially on a 4-days weekend I am bored. Ah, there is always a closet to clean

So now 1 day will be filled with a GTG lol
