DC to FLORIDA in November by car

Was thinkng of driving from DC to Miami in Nov.
Does this seem do-able?

It's doable but you have to have a good reason to do it...ie staying for in Fla. for the winter and want your car, huge family and can't afford flying, have a pet that you can't take on a plane or train etc. For a short visit, driving really makes very little sense when airfares are so cheap and gasoline is so expensive.

That's a really easy drive once you get out the DC/Richmond metro areas. Just point your car south and hit the gas pedal. Apply the brakes when you hit South Beach.
