DC Accomodations near Capitol

I am checking for accomodations near the Senate Office buildings for a one-day meeting I will be attending, and have narrowed by location of the closest hotels I can find on-line to:

Hotel George
Hyatt Regency Washington
Holiday Inn on the Hill

Which of these would be the best choice for location to the buildings and/or using the metro, if needed? Or any other recommendations?

Thanks!

They are all within a block or so of each other, so you will find them the same for your needs.

Agree they are all three fine. Hotel George is the absolute closest (and the nicest).

Also the Phoenix Park which is near the George and which has a great and well-known Irish bar on the ground floor. Haven't stayed there in quite a while, but the rooms are smaller, more European-style.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency and really liked it. It just completed a multi-million dollar renovation. I got it through priceline for $55/night.

I booked at the Hyatt Regency--I am a sucker for pillow top beds and fluffy duvets, which they now have since the renovation. Found a AAA winter special that includes breakfast, so that should work just fine!
