Need last minute DC hotel

Help... Need to extend my DC stay and having no luck with booking 3 add'l nites (june 15-18) w/o paying outrageous rates. The Hotel Rouge where I am now is sold out as are most of the conveniently located hotels in DC, VA and MD area.

Any one here with advice where I might check for rates under $200/nite?

Not sure if it's close enough but quikbook.com has the Omni Shoreham for $175

Orbitz is showing $209 at the Doubletree in Crystal City/Pentagon City. That seems like a good rate.

Try The Churchill. Great place. Rooms re-done within the last few yrs. It was $100/night last year. Near DuPont Circle.

Try www.priceline.com. If you need help figure out what to bid, go to www.biddingfortravel.com and see what other people bid on DC hotels.

Another good source is www.washingtondchotels.com

They have good prices and will display a list of hotels and their rates and availability for you to scan.

Many, many hotels are not listed on any website - you'll need to get busy calling 1-800 numbers. Here is a large list that will show many you probably havn't seen yet. Do not even think about calling the inexpensive places with a NE address: AWFUL locations and properties.

I would also call the Tabard Inn in the Dupont area:
