Day trip to lanai from maui??

hello, has anyone done a day trip from Maui to Lanai? Just wondering if it is worthwhile. Trilogy offers a day-trip that looks very interesting.
We are flying into Maui and will stay 6 nights befire visiting Ohau for 4 nights, then returning home from HNL. I would like to visit another island, but hate the idea of another interisland flight, not to mention repacking again! So I thought this would be a good way to see Lanai.
Any thoughts or suggestions of other companies or excursions are appreciated!

I did a day trip to Lanai from Lahaina, 6 years ago. Mine wasn't a tour, we just took a ferry and did enjoy ourselves. It was whale season so we say several humpbacks. I've read about the Trilogy day trip. It includes snokeling and lunch, correct?

I did the Trilogy day trip years ago. At that time, it was basically a boat trip to snorkel and spend time on their isolated beach on Lanai. You really didn't see anything of the island. I suggest taking the ferry boat, renting a car(expensive) and driving around, if you want to see anything of the island at all. Check out the Lodge at Koele- what a beautiful hotel!
