Day Pass to Resort Facilities on Maui

Has anyone ever heard of a resort/hotel allowing someone to purchase a "day pass" that would allow them to use the resort grounds and pool? I was thinking specifically about the Hyatt on Maui. The pool there looks spectacular but so are the nightly rates I was wondering if someone who is not staying at the hotel could pay to use the pool. I would even be willing to pay for one night of the lowest priced room. We will be on Maui in December when there are minimum stay requirements and I can't seem to work out a short stay at the Hyatt plus the minimum stay at a condo. I thought maybe this would be the solution if it is possible. Thanks.

I have not heard of a day pass being available, but I also wouldn't think they would advertise it. I think you should call the hotel directly and ask.

Actually many hotels will give youa day rate which is a lower rate than for an all night stay but still really steep. You get the use of the room fdor the day in case you want to clean or whatever. When we asked at the Hyatt in Kauai the day rate was too expensive to bother. Just giv the resort a call to see if they are offering a day rate for the day you want. If they are really busy they may not have any day rate rooms available.

Sorry for all the typos wendylyn. I actually meant in "case you want to CLEAN UP" not clean, LOL.

The Hyatt on Maui is really great. We've stayed there a couple of times.
