They had one a while ago but it doesn't appear now on either their website or on menupages. My problem with the prix fix was it didn't include any of their signature dishes. Maybe they got rid of the prix fix when he opened the restaurant at Bloomies?

Can anyone tell me about this area?
Furthermore I would like to see gospel but authentic and not too turistic, any suggestions?
Thanks Irene

The ad says upper east side and then provides maps of "1st ave" which runs from the lower east side (all the way downtown) to the upper east side. I'd want to know exactly where on 1st ave it is. The UES is generally thought to be 60 st-96 st. and that area is safe, residential and mostly upper middle class. Above 96 st. it can be dodgey.

1st ave. is the least desirable ave. b/c it makes you 3 long blocks from a subway stop minimum. Note also that this apt. is on the top floor of a walk up building. That's a long walk. My other problem with the ad/apt is no photo of the bathroom. I know craigslist allows 4 photos and they've only shown 3. I'd wonder why.

Gospel-here are 2 good previous posts with info

The address is 356 east 87th street, it's 3 floor walk up. They send me more photos, and i think it's ok.
I would like also to see a broadway show but my DH doesn't speak english. It's ok mama mia or the phantom of opera?

Location sounds ok. Think about carrying suitcases up 3 flights of stairs.

I think those shows would be ok. If you do Phantom, can you not find a translation of the story for him to read in advance?

Make sure to look for discounted tickets on broadwaybox.com
Both of these should be available.
